I was exploring different texture effects

The artist was painting on the road to Sandia Crest as clouds rolled in

20" black leather cord with sterling silver clasp

Smooth rectangular purple charoite beads alternating with petite sterling silver balls and one sculpted sterling silver accent bead

This painting is based on a photograph I took while touring the VanDusen Botanical Gardens

Private Logic Raku I was exploring different textureThe layers of acrylic on this painting overhang the edges, and the surface is almost weathered like an old wall of frescoes, with the previous artwork underneath. The artist states, "I wanted the images to peek & seek, in & out, from beneath the surface, kind of vacillating and arriving through the thick texture."
